From the smallest detail to the bigger picture: PLAYLAB, INC. transformed HAUS into a fantastical lanscape, blurring the lines between observer and creator.

Framed as a storybook-like exploration of possibility, The Forest For The Trees by PLAYLAB, INC. is an interactive installation that invites visitors into a child-like world where imagination is limitless.

From miniature models to large-scale theatrical sets, guests are welcomed into a fantastical landscape they can call their own, as detail after detail, they see the whole picture.

Haus week: the program

Beyond the installation, the weekend unfolded through a curated program of workshops and interactive experiences in collaboration with creative communities: Venezia FC, IUAV University, The Pink Lemonade, Cabana Magazine, Kyle Meyer, Amoraw, Haus of Ninja, Natalia Criado, Haisam Mohammed and "El Marazòl" by Juri Ferri.

PLAYLAB, INC.

PLAYLAB, INC. is an extremely multi-disciplinary Los Angeles-based creative studio founded by Archie Lee Coates IV and Jeff Franklin in 2004. For the past twenty years, the studio has realized ideas across a wide range of scales and disciplines, including runway shows, films, campaigns, furniture, retail, installations, books, brands, companies, artworks and more, through creative and art direction, strategy, design and production.
